The Journal of Applied Business Research (JABR)
welcomes articles in all areas of business and economics. Both
theoretical and applied manuscripts will be considered for
publication. Theoretical manuscripts must provide a clear link to
important and interesting business and economics applications.
JABR was ranked as the 48th best research outlet of all business journals in a study by Rita P. Hull (Virginia Commonwealth
University) and Gail B. Wright (University of Richmond) and was published in Accounting Horizons, March 1990. We employ a double
blind refereed reviewing process. JABR is indexed in the Journal of
Economic Literature, Cabell's directories, ProQuest, Scopus (the
world's largest abstract & citation database), and the International
Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS).
The overall acceptance rate for JABR is between 6% and 10%.

If you wish to submit
your manuscript for possible publication—
Please transmit your
manuscript
electronically by email attachment (or on a IBM-compatible CD) in Microsoft Word. The text should be
formatted for 8.5 x 11 inch paper, single-spaced at 10 points with
one inch margins, left justified.
We
generally follow the American Psychological Association (APA)
guidelines.
Each
submitted paper must be accompanied by a processing fee of $25 (or
$125, if expedited review); we accept check, Visa, or MasterCard.
The submission should contain the
following:

address, and email addresses for all authors

Abstract

Keywords

Introduction

Body of
paper

Tables,
figures, etc. (if applicable) in their proper position in the paper

paragraph, no more than 80-100 words) biography of each author

the final version should be sent to

Institute For Academic Research will determine the page fee from the
materials submitted and will send an invoice to the author. We
accept Visa, Master Card, or check.
