Suspected Author Misconduct in Clute Journals

Suspected cases of author misconduct in our journals have recently been brought to our attention. All manuscripts suspected of containing author misconduct have been retracted, pending an internal investigation.

In response, we are updating our Code of Publication Ethics and improving our regulations regarding plagiarism and author misconduct. Additionally, we are utilizing plagiarism-scanning software to further protect our authors from accidental author misconduct as well as assist in flagging larger issues within a manuscript.

We are in the process of adding a new page to our website addressing author misconduct and including resources on how to write a successful research manuscript. Plagiarism is a serious accusation and we want to provide our authors with the tools and resources needed to avoid it. If there are any comments or questions regarding our policies or author misconduct, please contact us.
