Update: Cabell’s Directories

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]any universities use Cabell’s Directories as a source for scholarly publishing information. Until recently, every journal we publish could be found in this directory. However, starting in December of 2014 Cabell’s removed hundreds of open access journals for reevaluation, our journals included. We were not told of our removal until afterward.

As instructed by Cabell’s, we have reapplied each of our journals for inclusion and are awaiting their response. As seen in Cabell’s public statement (found here), this reevaluation process should be completed by the end of 2015. We apologize for an inconvenience this may cause, and know that we are doing everything in our power to ensure our journals continue to appear in Cabell’s Directories.
