With less than a week to go until the 2018 Clute International Conferences San Francisco kicks off, we are in the final stages of printing the Conference Program and packing for what should be another great academic conference. This conference marks our 79thsince 1999 and the third in San Francisco.

The conferences begin on Sunday August 5, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. with an early check-in and Welcome Reception, where you can sip drinks, enjoy appetizers and network with conference attendees, the Clute Institute staff and the Institute’s Director Diane Pielat-Clute. Come by yourself or bring a guest and we will do the rest!

Monday starts with check-in at 7:30 a.m., followed by Poster Sessions, and Concurrent Sessions. The Keynote “Enhancing the Learning Environment of Students and Faculty by Embracing a Theoretical Framework of Caring” will be presented by Suzanne J. Crouch, Ed.D., MSN, ARNP, RN_BC, CNE, Chamberlain University, USA. The conference day comes to a close at 4:00 p.m. with Session 117 Learning Styles and 118 Business Education.

Moving into Tuesday, Poster Presentations will jump start the day at 8:00 a.m. with the continuation of multidisciplinary sessions and Workshops. We are also hosting a social hour at Whispers at 4:30 p.m., located downstairs in the hotel lobby area.

Wednesday marks the end of the conference with closing remarks from the Clute Institute’s Director, Diane M. Pielat-Clute immediately following the last session.

TOUR #1

The city highlights include the Golden Gate Bridge, China Town and the Fisherman’s Wharf. In the Muir Woods explore the giant redwood sequoia trees, some over 800 years old and over 250 feet tall. Afterwards shop or relax in Sausalito, California’s prettiest town. Wi-Fi is free on board the tour vehicle. This tour is approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes long and departs at 9:00AM from the Gray Line Visitor Center located in the Union Square area at 478 Post Street. Price $118.00 plus tax.
